Hailing from the lush countryside of Albert Town, Trelawny, Jamaica, Richard Grant is an emerging recording artist affectionately known as Vyrous and more recently, as Rytrust Vyrous due to the infectious nature of his lyrical prowess; spitting lyrics that effectively drive home a point, boldly stepping into any territory.

The artiste journey in music started at a very early age and as a young youth, growing up in the countryside, Rytrust Vyrous found that music is not just fun but also an entertaining past-time which led him to begin writing officially at age 11, when he wrote his first song “Rough and Tough”. With his writing skills now activated, the artist continue to write music, pulling inspiration from everyday life around him coupled with his own life experiences.

Rytrust’s dream is to use his music to spread the message of genuine love across the world while showcasing his writing skills and versatility.

One of his wishes is to see all entertainers coming together for the betterment of the local music industry to reverse the negative energy that has infiltrated Reggae and dancehall music.

OFFICIAL RELEASES:
In July 2022, Rytrust Vyrous officially released his first single, Freedom of Speech featuring US-based Jamaican artiste Tafari Watkis on FAIM’s BLAAC LIONSS label and it’s currently available on all major platforms. The song was released alongside a very appropriate lyric video and on November 11, 2022 he followed up with a scorching hot music video to complement the song from start to finish.

Rytrust Vyrous is currently signed to BLAAC LIONSS and is managed by FAIM.
